New year resolution and time for a break!

Hey guys. This is probably the first informal kind of post on my blog – better late than never right?!

First of all wishing you all readers a very happy new year. Like at every new year, this year as well I have a few resolutions made ( most of them being the unfulfilled ones of last year!). Have you made any yet? I came across this on facebook and I felt it was so apt for us crafters!

For me I decided to keep the list very short so that at least this year I do not find excuse for not doing them because of too many resolutions.

Here they are :

  1. Fitness first – I have always been on the “plumpier”side (or at least I think I am) and right now I have reached my goal weight but yet to achieve my fitness goal. I have been following PiYo exercise routine after my friend recommended them and I swear they are so effective. My office + baby+craft often disrupts my workout sessions so this year I have decided to sacrifice any of the other instead of compromising on my workout ๐Ÿ™‚ By the way do you guys have any suggestions for home based workout? let me know because I feel I have got accustomed to my routine that they aren’t that effective anymore ๐Ÿ˜›
  2. Personal priority – I have been having this long term goalย in mind which I have been wanting to achieve but then other short time works come up and I end up not doing what I want. I have decided to kind of just let go off my other requirements and concentrate more on my long term priority and make it happen. Hopefully! Do you guys too sometimes feel like you need to do multiple things at a time and you end up doing just nothing after all !?
  3. Blog less Craft less – I know this sounds crazy! Almost everybody’s resolution would be to craft more and blog more but I kind of decided the other way round to give some time for my two other resolutions stated above. I am sort of addicted to crafting – it helps me unwind my mind and relax after a long day at office + baby. Its going to be tough without crafting – I will obviously continue crafting here and there but Il not be doing blog post. Takes hell lot of time to take photos between crafting, of final products, setting up photo props, editing photos, drafting and reviewing a blog post etc. I will hence be sharing my works on facebook page and instagram only (mostly) and you can find my social media links here :
  4. Organize my home : Well my house is a pretty cozy place and I never thought about keeping them tidy because of the ever stopping tornado baby that I have! Now that she is 2 years+ and well behaved (ahem!) I think I should start thinking about giving my house a makeover which obviously has to start with purging (which is never in my dictionary at all!). I also want to make a house cleaning routine with daily/weekly/monthly/annual cleaning points charted out so that everything is always tidy and clean ๐Ÿ™‚ I could possibly be sharing some blog posts on them because they need just before and after pics ๐Ÿ˜›

So these were my resolutions this new year. What are yours?!

So since I am not going to be around on my blog that often or be taking part in challenges/partys, I think its a good time now to say bbye and share bear hugs ๐Ÿ™‚ I really have no idea of who you guys are because even though I have above thousand views a day I hardly have anybody leaving a little word ๐Ÿ™ But even then I am quite happy that I have been of little to somebody or the other through my tutorials ๐Ÿ™‚ If you are a crafter/DIY/home decor enthusiast and have at least minimal idea on drafting SEO friendly contents, and interested to interact on the blogosphere, I am free to rent my space. Just send me an email on [email protected]

  1. Angela going to miss you …and just when we were becoming good crafty friends too!! I comment on a lot of blogs but find it time consuming to comment on .com websites as it involves more steps like filling in my name, email, website etc and also .com websites dont show up on my blog dashboard. Do remember to give me a call when you come down to bangalore

Aw thats so sweet of you sonia. I know commenting can be a bit laborious task that too when you have less time after office and home chores to spend on blogs and crafts ๐Ÿ™‚ Will definitely give you a call when I am coming to bangalore for a full day . We could catch up ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. Oh,Angela I will miss your posts and tutorials. Hope your resolutions are achieved and decide to come back to blogging soon. Warm hugs and love.
