Handmade Angel Christmas Card

Handmade angel Christmas card – Cute andgel christmas card made using stampset from whimsy and mama elephant. Coloring using zig brush pens.

 

Yet another Christmas card for this holiday season and this time its an angel Christmas card 🙂 I had bought this Whimsy’s cute angel Cody stamp from Die cuts& more and couldn’t wait to make a card out of him! Materials required to make Handmade Angel Christmas Card :

• Whimsy stamps – angel Cody
• Mama elephant stamp – Merry Christmas sentiment
• Inks : Distress ink( peacock feather), Rangers dye ink (classic cherry), memento (bamboo leaves), tsukineko radiant neon ink pad,  Archival jet black ink
• Zig clean brush pens
• neenah white cardstock (A2 size)
• Sequins & Satin ribbon for embellishment
• Distress ink in peacock feathers shade
• sponge daubers

How I made the handmade Angel Christmas Card :

Neenah cardstock was cut out into A2 size and used as the base for this one layered card. The image of cute angel was stamped using archival jet black ink almost at the center of the card.

I made the cloud effects with help of a DIY stencil and a technique explained in Deepti Stephen’s video HERE.The angel was colored using Zig clean brush pens without diluting the colors. I loved the bright colors – they make me happy 😀

By mistake I had some ink stains here are there which I covered by placing sequins as embellishments 🙂 and also by tying a matching color satin ribbon across!

The sentiment is my most favorite stamps now – merry Christmas from Mama elephants. The same stamps had these little leaves and cherry stamps that have been stamped at the sides.

Finally the handmade angel Christmas card was ready and I loved it. I have been using Zigclean brush pens like normal sketch pens and I think its high time I try some shading with them.
