Simple and minimalist Scandinavian inspired DIY handmade cards . I am sure these would be perfect five minute cards to send across to long lost friends 🙂
Hello creative people! This year has been a blogging setback although I have been doing a lot of creative stuffs otherwise. I love the crafting community for the fact that they always somehow reach out to me in some form or the other and encourage me to get back to blogging 🙂 I was on cloud nine when Deepti from Catchy Challenges asked me me to join their monthly challenge this month. Honestly, I love love her so much because of her simplicity and they way her cards are not only minimalistic but also uses minimalistic supplies. I have always been an ardent follower of her blog and her youtube channel and I couldn’t contain my happiness on her invite 🙂 Anyways, coming to the challenge, the theme for this month’s catchy challenge is “Scandinavian Pattern” and that is a theme I absolutely love. Lets jump straight into todays post then – Scandinavian inspired DIY handmade cards!

What is Scandinavian Design?
Scandinavian design stands for simplicity, minimalism and functionality – something easy to and something we all want after-all.
I made two Scandinavian inspired DIY handmade cards and I absolutely loved making them. Minimalist and functional cards have always been my favourite. Here is my source of inspiration!!
I used the background stamp “tiny hearts” from my favourite things and hero arts ink in the shade “soft granite” from hero arts, on fabriano cardstock in the shade “bianco”.
I like such simple pastel cards
